Frank's tavern is permanently now sonny's tavern. It is the original boasted chicken recipe we have been using for 40 plus years. We have two super friendly and hard working bartenders, amazing burgers and a good environment so stop in and see us

I was travelling through Washington and just stumbled across this place while looking for a bite to eat. They had just opened for the day, and cooked up their house specialty for us. Fried chicken and Jos. A serving for 1 fed my wife and me. The chicken was the juciest fried chicken I have ever eaten. The potato was just as good. The owners and the cook were all top flight people who were friendly and talkative. Our short stay at Sonny's was really one of the highlights of our entire trip. It's a pity I can only give 5 stars. They deserve a lot more.

A good place to stop and grab a bite to eat

About a year ago, Sonny's was purchased by new owners and it is now the definition of a family diner. The mom runs the kitchen/bar and the son helps out busing tables. The Chicken and Joes- made in a high pressure cooker- was fantastic. I really can't think of a more deserving place to spend your money.
